FAQ
Answers about generating with licensed talent, approvals and earnings.
Mirai is the rights layer for generative media. Brands generate imagery with real people who have licensed their likeness, in Studio or through the API. Consent, restrictions, licence scope and payment are part of the workflow, not handled after an image is made.
Choose a model from the roster, then set up a shoot in Studio or describe it in chat, adding product or reference images if you have them. Most images finish within a few minutes. Review the watermarked results and license the ones you want to publish.
Fashion, beauty, hospitality, lifestyle, fitness, editorial and product-on-model imagery. You can upload products, clothing or references you have permission to use, and check results for changes to logos, garment details, colour and proportions. Every request must stay within the model's terms and our Acceptable Use Policy.
In Mirai Studio, digital licences can complete without picture-by-picture sign-off when the model's recorded standing consent covers the use. Otherwise, individual asset approval is required. Studio print and out-of-home licences follow the model's own setting: on demand inside her rules, or individual approval. A generated draft is not permission to publish.
Yes, once licensed. Each licence states the format, duration, territory and any exclusivity, and you see them before checkout. You get commercial usage rights within that scope, and the model keeps the underlying rights in their likeness. Current base rates are on the Pricing page.
No. Mirai does not use brand uploads or generated images to train a general model. Files are processed only by the providers needed to fulfil your request, as described in our Privacy Policy, and are never offered as a public dataset.
Yes. Character Studio is open today with public-domain characters and Mirai originals, on a monthly plan. Characters from other owners are paid per creation, at the price the owner sets, and the owner approves each use.
Your recorded permissions decide. Digital licences can complete without picture-by-picture sign-off when your standing consent covers the use; otherwise each asset needs your approval. Print and out-of-home follow your own setting: licensed on demand inside your rules, or individual approval if you switch them off. A generated draft is never permission to publish.
Yes. Set restrictions on categories, brands and territories before your likeness enters Studio. A proposed use must fit your recorded permissions and the licence scope.
You receive a share of commercial licence fees for imagery featuring you, according to your agreement. Licences and earnings are tracked in your account. A generated draft is not a purchased licence.
Yes. Give 72 hours' notice to stop new generation. Existing licences continue for their agreed term, because withdrawal does not cancel a licence a brand has already bought.
Campaign bookings follow their separate signed campaign agreement. Some use consent to a defined campaign scope rather than picture-by-picture sign-off; others include asset review. The agreed scope, approval process and confidentiality requirements apply to that campaign. Do not assume the standard Studio process applies.
No. For a campaign you already joined, the campaign agreement you signed applies, not the general Studio agreement. Confirm any change to its scope or approval process with Mirai in writing before proceeding.
