How we verify
Every person signs the Likeness Licence and an 18+ declaration before they can be licensed, and the other checks depend on how they join. What people keep, and what enterprises get, is below.
Before anyone is licensed
What everyone completes.
Signed Likeness Licence
You sign the Likeness Licence yourself, as its own act, before your AI likeness can be licensed. The version you signed is recorded.
18+ declaration
A signed declaration that you are 18 or older (or the age of majority where you live, if higher), with your date of birth. Paid licensing opens only once it is on file.
Photo safety scan
Your photos are scanned for unsafe content before your account is approved.

Joining through a partner app
A live face check: a selfie, then a short head turn on camera that follows a random prompt Mirai gives at that moment. The face in the turn must match the selfie. You also pass the Verified Human Check, which shows one unique human for one account. Mirai receives the result and the verification level, never your name, documents or biometric data from the partner.
Applying on the website
A person on the Mirai team reviews your application and approves it before you are listed or licensed.
For talent
Your rights.
- No AI training on your likeness unless you sign the separate AI Training Licence, which is not offered at launch.
- Pause with 1 tap in Settings, and resume with 1 tap. While paused, no new content of you is made and no new licence is sold.
- Stop any time: delete your account in Settings, or email legal@mirai.inc. No reason, no penalty, nothing to pay back.
- New content of you stops at once on Mirai and within 72 hours at partners.
- Your kit and face data are deleted within 30 days.
- Content already licensed to an enterprise runs to the end of its licence and keeps paying you.
For enterprises
What you get.
- Every image and film is made on Mirai.
- It is watermarked until it is licensed.
- The licence and the consent record are kept with the output.
- Anyone can check a Licence ID for its scope, term, territory and status. It never shows face data or the price.
