Prices, the Launch Pass and credits

This page sets out what you can buy from Mirai Talent Inc. ("Mirai"), what it costs, and your rights. It follows Platform Terms §14 to §14H.

The price you see is the price you pay

• Prices are in US dollars. The first price we show is the full price, including any tax we must charge and every fee.
• In a Partner App (another company's app in which Mirai runs, Terms §0.1A) you pay with Partner App payments, in USDC. The amount is fixed when you confirm. A blockchain payment cannot be reversed; refunds are new transfers.
• On the web you pay by card through Stripe, one payment at a time. Nothing on the web renews.
• The pay button says what it does, for example "Buy for $9.99".

The Launch Pass, when offered

The Launch Pass is not on sale at launch. When it is offered, it works like this.

• $9.99, paid once.
• Lasts 30 days from purchase.
• Includes 150 credits, enough for about 2 ten-second films or 37 photos at today's rates, and your films and photos go first in the queue.
• It never renews. No charge comes after the 30 days, in a Partner App or on the web. We remind you before it ends, and you can buy another with one tap if you want.
• Credits that come with the pass last as long as the pass, then end.

Credit packs

Credits from a pack expire only if an expiry date is shown when you buy them, and never sooner than 12 months after purchase.

Your first pack may come with bonus credits, shown before you pay: as many credits again as the pack extra, for the first credit pack you buy. Bonus credits are free credits: they expire on the date shown, have no cash value and are never refunded. If the pack is refunded, its bonus credits end too. One first-pack bonus per person.

What things cost in credits

Each image and each clip costs credits, as this rate card shows. The cost is the same whether or not a person appears. This is Mirai's Generation Fee.

Personal-use fees are paid only with paid credits; the person shown gets 80% of them.

If we raise a feature's cost, we tell you 30 days ahead. Until the change applies, you can ask for a refund of unused paid credits you bought before the notice.

Credits are a licence, not money

• Credits are a limited licence to use Mirai's features. They have no cash value. They are not money, a deposit, stored value, e-money, a gift card or an investment, and they earn nothing.
• You cannot sell, transfer, gift or cash out credits, or turn them into earnings. Only you can use them, and only on Mirai.
• Expiry: pack credits only on the date shown when you buy them, if any, and never sooner than 12 months after purchase; Launch Pass credits when the pass ends; free and reward credits on the date shown when we give them. We use the credits that expire soonest first. If the law where you live does not let paid credits expire, yours do not.
• If you close your account, unused credits end. In Latin America, if you ask when you close your account, we first refund unused paid credits bought in the last 12 months, at the price you paid. Bonus credits are not refunded. If we close it without a breach by you, or stop offering Mirai, we refund unused paid credits and unused pass time.

The free allowance

• Free photos most days, while today's free allowance lasts. You'll see what's left on your meter.
• How much is free changes every day with our capacity. On busy days there is less, and free generations may wait in a queue. When today's runs out, come back tomorrow or use credits.
• We don't promise any free feature, including video, on any day. Nothing on Mirai is unlimited.
• Paid credits are never limited by the free allowance. The free competition entry does not depend on it either.

Differences by country

Features, engines and free allowances differ by country, including in the United States, for legal, safety and supply reasons. The pricing screen shows what your country gets. Paid features are offered only where Mirai collects the tax the local law requires (Terms §14H).

• United States: Video with a real person's face is not available yet. Images and animated stills are.
• US persons, Colombia and the Philippines: at launch you create with Mirai's free faces, or with no person, and cannot add your own face yet (Terms §1.4B).
• New York, Illinois and Washington, once own faces open for US persons: you can create, but you cannot be licensed commercially. Nobody can add or upload a face while connecting from Illinois, or on an account whose declared or connection state is Illinois.

Refunds

• Partner App payments are refunded in USDC, through the Partner App, for the US-dollar amount paid. Card purchases are refunded to the card.
• If you reverse a payment without a refund right (a chargeback), we may remove what it bought and pause paid features until it is settled.
• We refund purchases made by a minor, as the law requires.
• Ask in Settings, then Purchases, or at info@mirai.inc.

If you are a Licensed Model: what you earn

• You get 80% of the Likeness Fee on every commercial licence of you, whoever sells it. Mirai's other 20% is inside the price, not added on top.
• When someone else makes personal content of you, you earn 80% of the personal-use fee. You earn nothing from the Launch Pass, credit packs, credits or the Generation Fee.
• You set your price. Many faces earn little or nothing.
• When a licence of you sells, your 80% becomes available once the buyer's payment has cleared and its refund window has closed. Withdraw from US$20, through the payout provider, after its one-time identity and tax step. The app shows typical timing; no payout timetable is promised (Terms C7).

Commercial licences are only for Licensed Models. Buyers see the Likeness Fee (the total, with the person's 80% and Mirai's 20% inside it), the Generation Fee and tax at checkout (Terms §8.2).

For businesses

• Business plans (seats): Starter: 120 credits a month, $49 a month or $490 a year; Growth: 400 credits a month, $149 a month or $1,490 a year; Scale: 1,500 credits a month, $499 a month or $4,990 a year. Monthly or annual, paid in advance. They never renew automatically. Annual plans cost 10 months' price. Renew before the end date to keep your price (Terms §14I).
• Licences of a person's likeness: the person's price times the product and duration factors (the Likeness Fee; 80% goes to the person), with Mirai's Platform Fee 20% inside it, not added on top; Insured Cover, where offered, is an extra charge. The Generation Fee for making the asset is charged when it is made. Example: Image, Digital, 6 months, at a $50 price: licence total $50.00 (the person gets $40.00, Mirai keeps $10.00), plus the 3-credit Generation Fee already paid for the image.
• Cover: every licence includes Mirai's written warranty and indemnity (Terms Schedule B16). [Insured Cover: shown here only once offered.]
• Invoices: every purchase gets an invoice from Mirai Talent Inc. with your business details and PO number, the Licence ID, each fee and its rate, the place of use and tax. Business prices are shown before tax; tax is its own line where Mirai must charge it.
• Larger businesses: if your business had more than US$1,000,000 of revenue last year, commercial use of what you make on Mirai needs a Business plan (Terms §5.3C).
