Report and remove: intimate images, minors, faces and impersonation
Version 1.0. Effective 9 November 2026. Published at mirai.inc/takedown.
This page explains how anyone can ask Mirai Talent Inc. ("Mirai", "we") to remove content, what we do, and how fast. It is also our notice of the removal process under the US TAKE IT DOWN Act.
If someone is in danger now, call your local emergency number first.
What you can report here
- Intimate images or video of you shared without your consent, whether real or made with AI.
- A minor: anything that shows or suggests a person under 18.
- Your face without your consent: content of you when you never signed a Mirai Likeness Licence, or an account that signed up with your face.
- Impersonation: content or an account that pretends to be you or someone else, or passes AI content off as a real photo or a real statement.
Copyright claims go to our Copyright Policy. Anything else that breaks our Community Standards: use the Report button.
How to report
You do not need a Mirai account.
- Use the form at mirai.inc/takedown.
- Tap Report on the item in the app.
- Email legal@mirai.inc.
Send a link, never the image. Do not send us copies of intimate images or of images of a minor. A link, a licence ID or a description is enough.
If you signed a Likeness Licence, you can also remove content of you that breaks your rules with one tap from your profile (Community Standards A4).
What a request to remove an intimate image needs
Under the TAKE IT DOWN Act, include:
- Your signature. Typing your full name counts as your electronic signature.
- Where it is: a link, a licence ID, or enough detail for us to find it.
- A short statement that you believe in good faith that the image shows you and was shared without your consent. Add anything that helps us see that it was.
- How to reach you: an email address or a phone number.
Someone you authorise, such as a lawyer, a relative or a support organisation, can ask for you. They sign, and tell us they act for you.
Other reports need only where the content is and what is wrong. You can report child sexual abuse material without giving your name.
What we do, and how fast
| Report | What we do | When |
|---|---|---|
| Any urgent report: intimate image, minor, face without consent, impersonation | We hide the content and pause new content of the face involved while we check | Our target: within 2 hours, at any hour |
| A valid request to remove an intimate image | We remove it, make reasonable efforts to find and remove known identical copies, and block re-uploads with hash matching | Within 48 hours of receiving the request, as the law requires |
| A minor | We remove the content, close the account and report it (see below) | At once |
| Your face without consent, or impersonation | We remove the content, stop all generation from that kit, and close the account if it was deceptive (Community Standards A5) | Target 2 hours to hide; decision as soon as we can |
| Anything else | We review it against our Community Standards and the law | In reasonable time |
- We confirm receipt straight away, with a request number.
- If a request is missing something, we hide the content first and ask you for it.
- We never ask for a photo of your face, and we never scan Mirai for your face. We use the links you give us and match copies of the reported files.
- We also tell our Platform Partners that show Mirai content. They take down intimate images and apparent minors at once, and other content within 72 hours of our notice.
- We tell you what we decided, whether automated tools were used, and how to appeal.
- We tell the person who posted it what we removed and why, unless that would put someone at risk or harm an investigation. We never give them your name or contact details.
- Content copied to other sites is outside our control. Report it to that site. For intimate images of adults, StopNCII.org can help block copies on many platforms. For images taken when you were under 18, use NCMEC's Take It Down service (takeitdown.ncmec.org).
Child sexual abuse material
We remove it at once, close the account for good, and report it to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline, as US law requires. We keep it securely only as US law requires, and only for that purpose. It is never restored. You can also report directly to NCMEC at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
Our duties under the TAKE IT DOWN Act
- Keep this process open, free and easy to find.
- Remove an intimate image within 48 hours of a valid request.
- Make reasonable efforts to find and remove known identical copies.
The US Federal Trade Commission enforces these duties.
Good faith
We act in good faith on what we can see. The law protects a platform that removes content in good faith, even if the content later turns out to be lawful. If we got it wrong, the person who posted it can appeal, and we restore it. A knowingly false request breaks our Terms (§11.4A) and may be unlawful.
Appeals
Anyone affected can appeal, free, within 6 months: the person who reported, if we refused to act, and the person who posted, if we removed. Use Settings, then Appeals, or email legal@mirai.inc. A person decides, not software. We answer within 14 days for account closures and hard stops, and within 30 days otherwise. If we were wrong, we restore (Terms §11.6). Intimate images and content of an apparent minor stay down while an appeal is decided.
Your data
We use what you send only to handle your report, and keep takedown records for 3 years after the case closes (Privacy Notice section 7).
